This year’s annual Christmas Concert was held at the Astra Theater on the 14th of December 2016. This concert, yet again, involved a large number of students. Many teachers together with students had been working hard to prepare these acts for the previous two months. The school orchestra and the school choir also met regularly to prepare and practice the chosen musical pieces for this special evening. 

For this Christmas Concert edition, Form 1 and 4 students worked together to perform a famous play with the name of “Boys Town”. Moreover, Form 2 students also performed a small sketch with a religious message. Form 3 students worked on a short feature film about Christmas. They filmed in various locations around the island of Gozo to produce this interesting film. Towards the end, Form 5 students provided a humorous twist to the event with the awaited comic act that usually contains jokes and funny comments. The audience enjoyed this comic act.

The school orchestra and the school choir executed several Christmas carols throughout the whole event. In his speech, the headmaster thanked and greeted both students and parents with a brief but profound message. His Lordship, Mgr. Mario Grech, the Bishop of Gozo, also attended this event and congratulated our students for their excellent drama skills and good attitude.
