During the Easter Holidays, our school in collaboration with the Spanish teacher, organised a cultural visit to Spain. 18 students from our School visited Barcelona from 15th to 22nd April on this cultural trip. The students were accompanied by the School´s Headmaster, Fr. Noel Saliba, the teacher of Spanish, Ms. Diana Gómez Cantoral and the Spanish language assistant, Ms .Alba Díaz Tortosa.

Students had the opportunity to visit many places and famous spots such “Port Aventura”, “Sagrada Familia”, “Park Güell”, “Camp Nou” and “Montserrat Abbey” among others.

They had also the chance to try “chocolate con churros” in a typical “Churrería”. This was a great opportunity to practice not only the language but also to know more about Spanish culture.

18 estudiantes de nuestro colegio visitaron Barcelona entre el 15 y el 22 de abril como parte de una visita cultural. Los estudiantes estuvieron acompañados por el director del Colegio, Fr.Noel Saliba, la profesora de español, Diana Gómez Cantoral y la Auxiliar de conversación, Alba Díaz Tortosa.

Los estudiantes tuvieron la oportunidad de visitar lugares característicos como “Port Aventura”, “Sagrada Familia”, “Park Güell”, “Camp Nou” y  el “Monasterio de Montserrat”, entre otros.

También tuvieron la posibilidad de probar “chocolate con churros” en una churrería típica. Ha sido una oportunidad excelente no solo para practicar el idioma, sino también para conocer más de cerca la cultura española.

As part of this activity, the Spanish teacher and Spanish language students organised a raffle for two footballs. The winning tickets where the numbers 3 and 46.
