From Monday, Oct 21 to Friday, Oct 25, our school hosted a series of enriching activities aimed at engaging and empowering all students, with a special focus on inclusion for our students with special needs. Here's a highlight of each day:
- **Monday**: We kicked off with icebreakers and shared good practices in inclusive education. The "Journey to the Living World" experience at Dream of Horses Farm allowed our students to interact with animals and learn about care and the environment. This hands-on experience bridged science with real-life roles in animal care, showing how active participation in learning benefits all students!
- **Tuesday**: A hands-on "A Beautiful Day" social studies activity took students shopping to prepare a Maltese Ftira. This student-centered activity encouraged interaction, communication, and problem-solving, fostering social and language skills.
- **Wednesday**: Students engaged in an English-adapted session, "I'm Going to the Hospital." With a focus on basic first aid and emergency procedures, students gained life skills through a hands-on workshop.
- **Thursday**: Students embarked on a cultural trip, exploring the historic Ġgantija Temples and Victoria Old Town. This artistic day offered a deep dive into Malta's rich heritage.
- **Friday**: We concluded with evaluations, reflections, and a closing ceremony. It's been an inspiring week showcasing the power of inclusive education!
Thank you to all participants, teachers, and partners for making this week a memorable success!
