EkoSkola members during today's outing at Għar Ilma as part of the Ekoskola’s aim to enhance water conservation awareness. The students were led by the area’s proprietor Mr Anthony Cauchi, who enthusiastically explained the British-era engineering behind the water harvesting network at Għar Ilma. Students were able to observe, and learn about, the underground canals and the underground cistern which collects water from the hill’s rock layers.
