General
By using this Web site, you are agreeing to accept and comply
with the terms and conditions of use as stated below, which IsGozo
may update at any time without notice. You should visit this page
periodically to review the then-current Terms and Conditions.
The “client” is referring to the person who is paying
for the service and is listed on the booking form. “We”,
“Us” and “Our” all refer to IsGozo and
“He”, “She”, ”You” and “Your”
all refer to the client.
Check in/ check out
Check in time is at 1500 and check out is at 1100. Whenever possible,
different check in and/or check out times can be agreed on booking.
Booking
Upon making an enquiry the client will have to specify the name
of the accommodation required, the period of stay and the number
of persons to stay at the accommodation amongst other things.
If accommodation is available, it will be confirmed by IsGozo
after a 40% deposit is paid so that the desired accommodation
is held according to the client request. The remaining 60% will
be paid upon arrival. Furthermore a Lm 100 safety deposit (preferably
by cheque) will be collected on arrival and will be refunded just
after departure when the house has been checked by the maid. Renting
other services such as car rental, boat trips, etc. will lead
to a discount in the total price. The minimum stay is of 7 nights
but this could be changed subject availability. Please note that
the farmhouses apartments and some guesthouses are self catering.
If the client needs to change the holiday dates after confirmation
has been given, we will try to accommodate your requests the best
way we possibly can and subject to availability but changes are
not guaranteed. The sooner we know about the changes, the
better we might be able to accommodate the client.
If the client needs to cancel the holiday booking for any reason,
50% of the deposit will be refunded if we are able to re-rent
the property. If the property is not re-rented on the previously
mentioned booking dates, the deposit will not be refunded to the
client.
Rates
Please note that all the rates depend on the dates and number
of persons booked and are always quoted in Maltese Lira (Lm).
Rates can be changed at any time without prior notice but cannot
be changed for a specific client once a booking or sale has been
confirmed by IsGozo.
Arrival and Stay
In the remote possibility that a client arrives at the accommodation
and it is not to their liking we promise to do our best to find
an alternate accommodation but that is not always possible and
an alternate accommodation is not guaranteed. If the client decides
not to stay at the accommodation specified on the booking form
or, if available, the alternate accommodation, no refund will
be given to the client.
We are not responsible for construction and construction equipment
near the accommodation. This could include building construction/renovation
and road repair. We are also not responsible for noises of any
kind coming from the streets or the areas near the accommodation.
Further more we are not responsible for actions by people outside
the accommodation and its premises which go beyond our control.
Situations like these could arise and we have no control over
them. We will definitely inform the client about what is going
on around the accommodation if we know before. Should this problem
arise whilst the client is at the accommodation we will try to
provide an alternate accommodation if available, but not guaranteed.
If a client decides to leave, for whatever reason, on arrival
or at any point during his/her stay at the accommodation, no refund
of payments will be made and IsGozo will not be liable for any
expenses the client might incur as a result of this.
The only authorised persons to stay at the accommodation are
the ones mentioned in the relevant booking form. Please note that
you are not allowed to let other people stay at the accommodation
without our consent. If permission is granted, these persons will
stay at the accommodation at an extra cost.
IsGozo has a detailed inventory of the accommodation contents,
so please note that payment is due for missing or broken objects.
Some of the accommodation are rustically built and could be slippery
or have uneven floors or steps. Whilst we do recommend that you
pay attention while moving through the accommodation, pool area
or its premises, we are not responsible for any kind of injury
sustained while at the accommodation, pool area or around its
premises.
Energy is expensive to provide so please turn off any lights,
A/C, water, etc. you are not using.
Please also note that since most of the accommodations are in
the countryside you might encounter various species of small animals.
We will not offer any kind of discount or an alternate accommodation
since this goes beyond our control.
Maintenance
We are responsible for the keeping the accommodation up to standard
and its maintenance. Maid service will be provided if the stay
is more than 14 nights or more at no extra charge. A general clean
up, change of towels and linen will be. Maid service is provided
once every week but if you need the maid more regularly, this
can be arranged for a small extra charge. It is also our responsibility
to maintain properly the pool area. During your stay, maintenance
personnel might come at the accommodation to perform routine maintenance
works and fix problems you might have. This will be kept to the
minimum so as not to disturb your holiday. Things do break up,
so whilst doing our best to fix problems or offer alternate solutions
we will not give discounts or provide alternate accommodation
for minor faults.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold IsGozo harmless from
and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses or
expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees and costs) arising
out of, based on or in connection with your access and/or use
of this Web site.
