As the universal Church commemorated the 100th anniversary of the last apparition of Our Lady in Fatima, Portugal, our school celebrated by organizing prayers and reflections at Ta’ Pinu Basilica.  Our school students were taken to the Ta’ Pinu Shrine by bus and entered the Basilica to pray and sing Marian hymns.  Then they were divided into groups and shown around the four mosaics that represent the Mysteries of the Rosary.  The various groups had a leader who explained each and every mosaic; every moment of reflection came to a conclusion by reciting one station of the Rosary.  Back in church, the Bishop concluded  the morning prayers by giving his apostolic blessing.  Our students were accompanied by various teachers and Lsas; students from the Bishop’s Conservatory Secondary School also took part in the morning prayers.
